Hi! I'm Mary and I'm the one-person show behind "The Mary Jay." "The Mary Jay" is based in the United States and began October 2020 along with my own coming out story. I am so honored to have YOU here as a part of this journey!

**SHOP POLICES*
*CURRENT PROCESSING TIME :
Processing time varies depending on the item. Please view the individual listing for the processing time. If your order contains items with different processing times, your order will ship out based on the item with the LONGEST processing time. If you would like items with faster processing times to ship out earlier, please place separate orders.

SHIPPING ADDRESS:Please make sure that your shipping address is accurate! If you need to update your shipping information, kindly reach out to me via the "contact us" form before your order has been shipped out and I can change the address for you. Once it is with USPS, unfortunately, I can only direct you to resources with the carrier. Please note that buyers are responsible for any delays, returns, or losses caused by an incorrectly entered address. If the item is returned to me, there may be a re-shipping costs to accommodate a change of address.

SHIPPING:
Once you order is marked as "shipped", it is in the possession of USPS shortly after. It can take a few days for USPS to update the status from "Pre-transit" to "In Transit", even though your package is already on its way. Shipping time varies based on location. Please note that there may be potential shipping delays by the carrier, especially around the holidays, that are unfortunately, not in my control.

For digital patterns, you should be able to find it available for download in your order confirmation email. If you are unable to find it or there is technical difficulties, please reach out to me through the contact us form and I will gladly email it directly to you.

CANCELLATIONS/RETURNS:
I currently do not accept cancellations or returns unless there is a problem with the item or with the fulfillment of your order. If there is an issue with your order, please contact me through the contact us form within 14 days from delivery and I'll gladly help you out.

DAMAGED/DEFECTED ITEMS:
If your order arrives damaged or defected, please contact me through the contact us form within 14 days from the time of delivery in order to receive a replacement. Photo proof is required.

LOST PACKAGES:
 If your order is lost in transit, please contact me through the contact us form within 14 days from the estimated delivery date.

ALLERGIES: 
While I regularly disinfect my workspace, all physical items are stored and packaged in a home with a cat and may be exposed to cat fur, cat dander, etc.

WARNING (CHOKING HAZARD): My crochet plushies are meant to be decorations and NOT toys for children. They contain safety eyes and other materials that can be choking hazards. Keep away from babies, young children, pets.

POSTING ONTO SOCIAL MEDIA:
All plushies and orders may be shown on my social media or website (social medias can be found @themaryjay and website at themaryjay.com). However, if I do include both your name and story, I will always ask for your permission first. The exception is 1. you specifically already asked for your order to be filmed, in which that request will be considered as permission and 2. I may feature the "optional note" you left for me on your order or your "message", but will not include your name or any other identifying information about you without your expressed permission. Not all plushies or orders will be recorded for social media.
